Defending champion Murray shocked by Dimitrov
Grigor Dimitrov beat Andy Murray 6-1 7-6 (4) 6-2 to send the defending champion crashing out of Wimbledon.
An error strewn first set from Murray saw Dimitrov secure breaks of serve in the fourth and sixth games of the stanza to race into a one-frame advantage.
Murray opened the next set with a love service game but then had to come from a break down to send the set into a tie-breaker.
A tentative breaker from Murray allowed the Bulgarian to open up a two-frame advantage.
Dimitrov secured a break of serve in the sixth game of the third set after Murray let a 40-15 advantage slip before the Bulgarian held serve to force Murray to serve to stay in the match.
An out of sorts Murray offered up two match points, the second of which saw Murray tamely find the net.
