Veteran striker Hernan Crespo has signed a one-year contract extension with Parma, the club have confirmed.
Crespo, 35, who returned for his second spell at Parma in January 2010 having averaged more than a goal every other game for the Gialloblu between 1996 and 2000, is now tied to the club for the 2011-12 season.
He said on his club's website: "I'm happy to be at Parma for another year.''
Crespo started his career at River Plate in his homeland before moving to Parma. He has also played for both Milan clubs, Lazio and Genoa in Italy, and for Chelsea in England.
