| Samp bounce back |

Sampdoria bounced back from their European disappointment in midweek with a convincing win over 10-man Bari this afternoon.
Domenico Di Carlo's men crashed out of the Europa League on Wednesday night after going down 2-1 at home to PSV Eindhoven but they found Bari a far simpler prospect.
Giampaolo Pazzini put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot after 17 minutes and Bari's afternoon took another turn for the worse when Marco Rossi was sent off after lashing out at home keeper Gianluca Curci.
Stefano Guberti then took centre stage with two second-half strikes to secure a fine win.
Angelo Palombo was prominent in the early stages, his eighth-minute shot going high and wide before a 12th-minute effort from closer range required a smart block from visiting defender Andrea Masiello to keep it out on the line.
The pressure finally told when Rossi was adjudged to have handled in the box after the ball rebounded on to his arm via his knee and Pazzini converted coolly.
The hosts almost doubled their advantage five minutes later but Guido Marilungo was unable to convert Vladimir Koman's inviting right-wing cross.
Rossi completed a hapless contribution shortly after the half-hour mark when he became embroiled in a skirmish with Curci and a needless elbow resulted in a straight red.
Bari boss Giampier Ventura did not agree with the decision, however, and was also dismissed for taking his protests too far.
The home side continued to boss proceedings and only a wonderful save from Jean Francois Gillet prevented Nicola Belmonte turning Guberti's cross into his own net.
Samp remained on top at the start of the second period with Marilungo firing wide from close range.
But they did double their advantage after 50 minutes, Guberti curling a wonderful shot into the top corner.
And he made it 3-0 11 minutes later with a shot from the edge of the box which clipped Alessandro Gazzi on its way past the helpless Gillet.
Samp had chances to make the scoreline even more emphatic but Marilungo and Pazzini wasted presentable opportunities.
