Trezeguet ends Juve career |
David Trezeguet has left Juventus after ten years with the Bianconeri the club confirmed on Saturday.
Trezeguet will now have to find a new club, which will reportedly be Hercules in Spain, after agreeing to cancel the final year of his deal with Juve.
Juventus president Andrea Agnelli praised the impact the Frenchman has made after a decade in Turin.
"I've been, like all Juventus supporters, very fond of David and his 171 goals in 10 years," Agnelli said. "A player with an average of 17 goals a season does not need any further comments.
"It's been a real love affair, David will always be in the heart of all us Juventus supporters."
After falling out of the Juventus starting XI last season, Trezeguet's large wages became a burden for the Turin club.
He won four Serie A titles, not including the two that Juve were stripped of in the match-fixing scandal.
However, his penalty miss at Old Trafford handed AC Milan the 2003 Champions League title.
