Brest hang on to top spot |

Brest held onto top spot in Ligue 1 despite being held by spirited Sochaux tonight.
Nolan Roux's 38th-minute goal ensured Brest retained their unbeaten home record in Ligue 1 this season, but it was not quite the response they had hoped for after losing 3-1 to Lille last weekend.
For Sochaux it was an encouraging point, although it meant their winless run extended to five matches.
Brest created the first opening when Romain Poyet got clear into the box but was denied by a crucial intervention from Sochaux goalkeeper Pierrick Cros in the 12th minute.
Sochaux went close seconds later when Jeremie Brechet's header drew a good save from Steeve Elana in the Brest goal after a Ryad Boudebouz free-kick.
Brown Ideye then hit a shot which flew just over the crossbar for Sochaux and they forged ahead midway through the half when Boudebouz released Nicolas Maurice-Belay down the left.
He combined with Ideye and Modibo Maiga on the edge of the box and the latter then released Ideye to round off a swift counter-attack.
Roux levelled 16 minutes later as Mario Licka's free-kick was headed towards him by Paul Bayasse and he unleashed a fierce volley which gave Cros no chance.
Brest had marginally the better of a poor second half.
Roux was denied two minutes in by a last-ditch challenge, and Cros then did well to first deflect clear a Poyet cross and then block a Benoit Lesoimier volley.
Sochaux's best chance of the half arrived in the 50th minute when Elana produced a superb save to deny Ideye after he was set up by Maiga.
