Two wins in a row for Lyon
Lyon made it back-to-back wins after seeing off Lille in an entertaining encounter at Stade de Gerland.

Lisandro Lopez fired the hosts in front after two minutes before Yoann Gourcuff doubled the lead before the break.

Moussa Sow pulled one back on 52 minutes for Lille but Lisandro put the game beyond the visitors with his second from the penalty spot after 56 minutes.

Lyon played the last 20 minutes with 10 men following the dismissal of Jeremy Pied but Lille could not turn their man advantage into goals.

The result continues Lyon's mini-revival and they are now up to 14th place while Lille's first defeat of the campaign leaves them sixth, five points off leaders Rennes.

The hosts caught Lille napping to go ahead after two minutes, Michel Bastos releasing Lisandro who ran in on goal and drilled the ball beyond Mickael Landreau.

Jeremy Toulalan was unlucky not to double the lead on 13 minutes when his volleyed effort came back off the post, while moments later Kim Kallstrom's effort drew a great stop from Landreau.

Lille hit back with Gervinho forcing a good save from Hugo Lloris on 18 minutes, while seven minutes from the break it was the hosts rattling the woodwork as Adil Rami's header from Yohan Cabaye's free-kick struck the crossbar.

Lyon's second arrived on 41 minutes when Pied's low centre was only half cleared by Rami towards Gourcuff, who lashed the ball home on the volley for his first goal of the season.

Lloris' smart stop denied Sow four minutes after the restart but the Lille forward got the better of the Lyon keeper moments later, his superb overhead kick from Florent Balmont's cross reducing the deficit.

Lyon restored their two-goal cushion after 56 minutes when Balmont fouled Kallstrom in the area and Lisandro stepped up to fire home from the penalty spot.

Pied's dismissal for a second yellow card after 70 minutes made the closing stages harder than they needed to be for Lyon, but Lille looked shorn of ideas in front of goal as Claude Puel's men held on.
