PSG crashed to defeat at Sochaux |

Paris St Germain's defensive frailties resurfaced once more as they crashed to defeat at Sochaux this afternoon.
PSG boss Antoine Kombouare demanded an improvement from his backline before the game after watching them lose to Bordeaux last weekend and concede four in the Europa League to Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday night.
But again they looked shaky as Sochaux effectively won the game before half-time with three goals. The visitors pulled one back at the start of the second period but any thoughts of a comeback had long since evaporated before Jeremy Clement was sent off late on.
PSG looked dangerous in the early stages, Ludovic Giuly seeing a powerful volley deflected away by home keeper Mathieu Dreyer and Guillaume Hoarau shooting narrowly wide.
Sochaux rode the storm and took the lead in the 13th minute.
Nicolas Maurice-Belay was the architect with a surging run down the left and after his shot had been parried by Gregory Coupet, Modibo Maiga was on hand to tap home the rebound.
PSG came close to an equaliser, Dreyer saving Mevlut Erding's shot before the hosts doubled their advantage five minutes later.
Maurice-Belay was again instrumental with another blistering run which culminated in a pass to Brown Ideye and he got the better of Zoumana Camara before beating Coupet.
Sochaux netted again on the stroke of half-time, Damien Perquis heading home Ryad Boudebouz's corner.
The visitors were shellshocked but still managed to pull one back after 50 minutes when Hoarau slotted home Stephane Sessegnon's defence-splitting pass.
Sochaux came again and only a brilliant save from Coupet denied Maurice-Belay.
The afternoon ended in disappointing fashion for PSG when Clement was shown a red card for a reckless challenge on Maiga.
